Inspired by English Drawing Room of the Victorian Period (Decorated for the Holidays) in the Art Institute of Chicago's Thorne Miniature Rooms. These fascinating models were conceived by Mrs. James Ward Thorne (American, 1882-1966), and painstakingly constructed on a scale of one inch to one foot between 1932 and 1940.
